Popular singer cum rapper Jazzman Olofin lost two people close to his heart less than one month. The singer lost his best friend OJB Jezreel to kidney ailment on June 14, 2016. OJB not only produced songs for Jazzman, he was also a close friend of the Raise The Roof singer. In the last interview OJB granted TheNet before his death, the late music producer when asked who his friends are said he did not have many but that: “People have always said Jazzman is OJB’s best friend. For me I’ll say we are more or less like brothers. We fight like brothers, we argue like brothers, so I think he’s about the only one with whom I’ve been able to take it beyond the regular industry friendship.” While still mourning the death of OJB, Jazzman’s mother-in-law, late Nollywood actress cum broadcaster Bukky Ajayi died on Wednesday, July 6, 2016. She was buried same day according to Islamic injunction.
The late singer also said that Jazzman’s Raise The Roof was better in terms of production and creativity than 2Face Idibia’s Grass To Grace album.
A day after burying his mother-in-law, Jazzman set out for the Service of Songs of his best friend on Thursday and then his final burial on Friday. He will surely missed these two people that were close to his heart.
