Flavour, Phyno confirmed as lead artistes for Yudala Zero Gravity

                         Superstar artistes Flavourand Phyno have been confirmed as part of the headline acts for a mega digital entertainment concert tagged Yudala Zero Gravity which kicks off with a Contemporary music blast at the Landmark Event Centre, Oniru - Lagos on October 2nd 2016. 


Yudala Zero Gravity is powered as a mega three-city dual concert featuring the best artistes in Contemporary Nigerian hip-hop and Rock Gospel, who will use the platform to launch new hit tracks. It is a platform to see and hear it first.  Loads of surprises and other side attractions are in store from Africa’s pioneer composite e-commerce outfit Yudala and New Concept Media Group (NCMG) at this inaugural edition of Yudala Zero Gravity.

Flavour has enjoyed widespread fame and global reckoning as a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and performer of note. Flavour is popularly known across Africa and the world for a plethora of hit songs including Nwa Baby, Wake Up and Ada Ada, among many others. In 2005, he released his self-titled debut album N'abania. In 2010, Flavour released his second studio album Uplifted. It was supported by the singles Nwa Baby (Ashawo Remix), Adamma, and Oyi Remix. The album's success made Flavour one of Africa's most sought-after artistes. He has also gone ahead to add two more successful studio albums – Blessed released in 2012 and Thankful (2014) to his collection of efforts.

Unarguably one of the best rappers in the game at the moment, Phyno started his musical career as a producer in 2003. Renowned for blending Igbo and English languages in his rap, Phyno released his debut studio album No Guts No Glory in 2014 which produced the singles Ghost Mode,Man of the Year,Parcel and O Set. Phyno also successfully released a collaborative album with Olamide titled 2 Kings in April 2015. Plans for the album were first announced in January 2014 by both rappers via social media. As a producer, Phyno has worked with artistes such as Timaya, Flavour, Ruggedman, Bracket, J Martins and Mr Raw.

This inaugural edition of Yudala Zero Gravity will hold in three cities – Lagos, Abuja and Enugu. Each city will host two concerts: a Contemporary Nigerian music blast and a Rock Gospel concert. Zero Gravity will witness pure acoustics and live performances from the best Nigerian artistes in both genres of music.  

As an initiative to reward customers, free tickets will be delivered to Yudala customers for purchases made from August 1st 2016 online or in any Yudala Experience Store nationwide. According to him, the man was asking where the police were and was walking across the rock bridge, a busy area in the city, where police have always been seen at the other end of the bridge waiting to pull over people who disobey the traffic law. After nearly two months away, Lionel Messi comes out of International retirement

                                               Lionel Messi has sensationally returned to Argentine National team after holding talks with new coach Edgardo Bauza. Messi, 29, who is Argentina's all-time leading scorer with 55 goals in 113 appearances, quit after Argentina's Copa America final defeat by Chile in June in which he cried and told media reporters after the match that he had decided to retire. But in a statement reported by media in Argentina, the Barcelona striker said he made the U-turn for the "love of the country" and "to help from within".
"A lot of things went through my mind on the night of the final and I gave serious thought to quitting, but my love for my country and this shirt is too great. We need to fix many things in Argentinian football, but I prefer to do this from inside and not criticise from outside."
"A lot of things went through my head the day of the last final and I seriously thought about quitting, but I love this country and this shirt too much. I thank all the people who want me to keep playing with Argentina, I hope we can soon deliver them some joy."
Messi on Friday was named in Argentina's squad for the next set of International friendlies alongside  Manchester City trio Sergio Aguero, Pablo Zabaleta and Nicolas Otamendi and Manchester United pair Sergio Romero and Marcos Rojo.

Vector signs rapper/hypeman AO to his label G.R.A.P music, releases new freestyle track

G.R.A.P Music, which is Vector Tha Viper's record label has signed its first act...rapper and hypeman Arinze Oruche aka AO. Originally from Anambra State, born and raised in Lagos till he left for the U.S. where he lived for 15 years until he returned to Nigeria about 4 years ago.
The rapper has been making a lot of noise in the underground scene especially a few years ago when he dropped his first mixtape titled "I DON LAND OH". When you first hear the voice of this extremely versatile artist, it might shake you up a bit, with some already crowning him "Deepest Voice In The Industry".

His newfound buzz began after him and Vector had such an incredible performance at the most recent HEADIES Award. The ability to perfectly blend the styles of two lands (Naija and Yankee) together is what makes AO truly unique, and he shows this off in his soon to drop official first single "WALAHI WALAHI" which features Jesse Jagz & Vector.

Young black woman who plotted to join ISIS with Muslim fiancé, sentenced to 12 years in prison

A 20-year-old Mississippi woman has been jailed for conspiring with her Muslim fiance to join the Islamic State group.

Jaelyn Young, a former Mississippi University student and daughter of a former Navy seal, who sought to disguise a planned honeymoon to join ISIS was sentenced by a federal judge on Thursday to 12 years in prison on a terrorism charge.

  
The honour student at Warren Central High School broke down in heavy sobs during her sentencing by U.S. District Judge Sharion Aycock. Young pleaded guilty in March to one count of conspiring to provide material support to a terrorist organization.

Young had faced up to 20 years in prison. Her parents pleaded for leniency at Thursday's hearing. Young, amid sobs, said she was ashamed of her actions. 
Her fiance, Muhammad Dakhlalla, pleaded guilty March 11 to a similar charge and is set to be sentenced Aug. 24. Prosecutors have said Young, who converted to Islam while studying at Mississippi State University, had prodded Dakhlalla into the plan.
The two were arrested in 2015 before boarding a flight from Columbus, Mississippi, with tickets for Istanbul, Turkey.

"I found the contacts, made arrangements, planned the departure," Young had written in a farewell letter to her family. "I am guilty of what you soon will find out."

Young and Dakhlalla were among a number of people arrested around the country for Islamic State sympathies. Like many, authorities said, they had developed views supporting the Islamic State in part by watching online videos and were arrested after social media posts attracted the attention of the FBI.

The two were arrested in August 2015 before they could board the flight from Mississippi with tickets for Istanbul purchased using her mother's credit card without permission, according to court records. Authorities said the couple had contacted undercover federal agents in May, seeking online help in traveling to Syria. Both remained jailed in Oxford since their arrests.

Court papers say Young announced her conversion in March 2015 and began wearing a burqa, a garment worn by some Muslim women to cover their face and body.

"After her conversion, Young distanced herself from family and friends and felt spending time with non-Muslims would be a bad influence," prosecutors wrote.

A court statement said Young increasingly complained about the treatment of Muslims in the United States and United Kingdom. Prosecutors said that, after watching videos included pro-Islamic State messages from a British Muslim preacher who faces criminal charges of supporting the group, she began to view the fighters as liberators.

"Young continually asked Dakhlalla when they were going to join (the Islamic State group) and began to express hatred for the U.S. government and to express support for the implementation of Sharia law in the United States," prosecutors wrote.

By May 2015, she had begun seeking advice online on how to travel to Syria, eventually making contact with undercover FBI employees, according to prosecutors.

Young told the undercover FBI employees that she and Dakhlalla would like to be medics treating the wounded. Dakhlalla, in online contacts, said he was good with computers and media and wanted to contribute to the Islamic State's struggle. Court papers say Dakhlalla said online that he wanted to become a fighter and learn "what it really means to have that heart in battle."

As if to stamp his godlike authority on the Olympics for good measure, Michael Phelps has taken athletic achievement to Olympian heights by smashing a record that has remained untouched for two millennia.
 
The American won his 22nd gold medal today, 9 have come from relays while 13 are individual triumphs. The 31-year-old swimmer won his 13th gold medal in the 200metres men's event to surpass the 2000-year record set by Greek Olympian, Leonidas of Rhodes who won 12 individual gold medals.
