Brazilian football legend Pele is married for the third time in a private wedding.

Marcia was in the middle
of a split from her husband when she met Pele again.
The football legend’s third wife is of Japanese origin and a successful
entrepreneur in her own right in the medical supplies sector.
Pele first met Aoki at a
party in New York in the 1980s but began dating her after they bumped
into each other in a lift in a Sao Paulo apartment block that they both
lived in in 2008. Fate brought them together again in the same elevator
two years later and now they are married.
The 75-year-old weds his
girlfriend of six years, 50-year-old Marcia Cibele Aoki, in the coastal
town of Guaruja Sao Paulo on Saturday, July 9, 2016.
The couple was to be married two years ago but had to abandon the plan
because of the football legend’s health condition.

Pele had five children,
three with his first wife Rosimeri Cholbi who he was married to for 12
years and two with his second, gospel singer Assiria Nascimento who he
was with for 14 years.
